I’m not one of these people who go down to Next at 6 am on Boxing Day in order to get a few discounted t-shirts, but when it comes to the Lush sale…I become one of those people. I queued for over an hour all in order to pick up a few half-price bath bombs and was it worth it? Absolutely.
I spent just under £70 in total meaning I ended up saving a whopping £70 as everything from the Christmas range was half price.
First thing I picked up was the Plum Pudding Bath Melt, I don’t think I’ve ever tried a bath melt from Lush before so I’m pretty excited to give this ago. According to Google, they’re full of oils and cocoa butter which melt in the bath giving you super soft and hydrated skin.
This is the Perle De Sel bath bomb, I haven’t tried this one before but it has a gorgeous smell. The Lush website states the ingredients comprise of cocoa butter, sea salt and rose.
I had to pick up this classic; the Butterbear. These were selling out fast at my local store so I only just about managed to grab one. The main ingredient in this is cocoa butter so it leaves your skin feeling really soft when you get out of the bath.
Another one of my festive favourites is the Golden Wonder bath bomb. I normally pick one of these up before Christmas and I like to use this in my Christmas Eve bath. I picked up two of these because I love them. They’re coated in fine gold glitter and they make such a gorgeous colour in the bath water.
I also picked up two of these; the Luxury Lush Pud. This has a really similar scent to the Comforter bubble bar (may even be the same scent?), so it smells gorgeous but this also creates the most beautiful colours in the bath which is why I love it so much.
I was quite surprised to see this one still in stock because I thought this was actually a Halloween bath bomb. This one doesn’t sound very appealing because a key ingredient in this is black pepper oil but somehow it still smells lovely and I adore the wine red bath water it produces.
Another of my Christmas favourites is the Shoot For The Stars Bath Bomb. It reminds me a little of Intergalactic with the colours it makes in the bath water but I do prefer the scent of this one.
I’ve never seen this one in store before so I decided to give it a sniff and I was pretty much hooked. This is the Candy Mountain Yule Log bubble bar and as the name suggests; the scent is very sweet and vanillary which I adore.
I don’t adore the jelly bombs from Lush but I think the concept is pretty cool so I ended up picking up the Snow Fairy Jelly Bomb mostly because I adore the Snow Fairy scent.
I picked up two of these Magic Wand bubble bars because again, they have the classic Snow Fairy scent I seem to struggle to resist.
Lastly, I couldn’t walk out of the store without stocking up on the Snow Fairy shower gel. I also picked up the new body spray which I love, I saw it earlier in the year but couldn’t quite bring myself to spend £20 on it.
After that little haul I’d say I’m pretty much stocked up until next Christmas. Did you have a favourite Christmas product you stocked up on this year?
