It seems forever since I hit publish on a post here (in reality it’s actually only been 4 months), but I feel like I have a pretty good excuse however as within those four months I’ve moved out of my parents home, added a puppy to the family and started a part-time law degree.
We’ve been in the new house about 3 months now and things are just about straightening out… the place was partially furnished when we moved in but we weren’t keen on any of the furniture so all of that had to come out and our new furniture needed purchasing and moving in (which actually takes a lot longer than I originally thought it would!).
Adding our puppy (Bruno) into the household was such an exciting time for me, we did some research and decided to get a labrador puppy due to their nature (especially how good they are around children). We looked into adopting but ultimately decided to buy a puppy from a breeder to be our better option, mainly because we needed a dog to be good with children and Bruno had grown up around a 7-month-old and a three-year-old which was perfect.
Life for Bruno is pretty much one big adventure (which he explores mostly through chewing everything he comes in contact with…), he loves his food, loves playing tug of war and chasing our cat around the garden although he isn’t keen on baths and he’s a little confused about cars…
A law degree is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while and this September I decided to take the plunge and sign up with Open University. The qualification officially began this week but resources opened early so I’ve been having a read and so far I’m loving it, fingers crossed this motivation stays around for the next 4 years!
So with all that happening my blog has taken a bit of a back seat, I hope to get back posting regularly by December so I can post some Christmas bits but I plan to have a bit of a ‘rebrand’ between now and then.
Thanks for sticking around!
