Glossybox Unboxing September 2016

Glossybox Unboxing September 2016

If you caught my August Glossybox Unboxing you’ll know I was pretty unhappy with the products in that box so this month had to be pretty good for Glossybox to redeem itself.

This month Glossybox teamed up with Red Magazine to create the Editors Choice Box, this month the box was (of course) bright red.

Revlon Colourstay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat // Full Size // RRP £7.99

I was pretty pleased this was in the box, I haven’t really got a decent topcoat in my collection and this promised some pretty awesome things.  I have actually given this ago already on top of an OPI polish and I so far- I’m pretty damn impressed.  It gives a lovely, gel-like shine to your nails and seems to be doing a good job of keeping my polish chip-free.

Two Faced Better Than Sex Mascara // Sample //RRP £19

I actually still  haven’t tried this mascara.  I know, I know. I’m pretty excited to finally give this bad boy a go.

The Organic Pharmacy Antioxidant Lip Balm // Full Size // RRP £12

This is one of my favourite lipbalms of all time, this stuff is so creamy and thick and does amazing things to your lips so I was a happy bunny getting another one of these for my stash.

Vitamasques Hydro Face Mask // Full Size // RRP £7.99

Lastly we have a sheet mask, I kinda love sheet masks (mainly because you don’t have to scrub them off after 10 minutes and create a huge mess in your bathroom).  This one is apparently inspired by Asian skincare technology to help hydrate the skin for 120 hours, maybe a little sceptical about this one but we’ll just have to see!

As a little extra in this month’s box, we received a sample of one of the new Body Shop facemasks, which funnily enough I went out and bought just the other day so I’ll be giving this one away to a friend but a nice thought!

This month, Glossybox definitely stepped their game back up so I’m a happy bunny again and I’m looking forward to next month’s box (a month seems like such a long time away..)

Apologies for the horrendous posting schedule at the moment, I’ve been working non-stop so getting a blog post out proved difficult.  I am still going with The Girl Gang Blog challenge although have missed a few days (and probably will in the future!).

Thanks for reading,
