Colour Pop x Hello Kitty Haul and Review

As soon as I received the email informing me of Hello Kitty collaborating with Colourpop I was on that website quicker than you can say ‘I should really stop buying shit because of the cute packaging’.

A few days later this adorable package turned up at my door and I couldn’t resist taking a few photos.  I ordered the Apple Pie Eyeshadow Quad, the ‘School is Fun’ Highlight, a Lippiestix in Konnichiwa, an Ultra Satin Lip in Tiny Chum and a gloss in Supercute.

The eyeshadows and highlights are such a unique texture and nothing like I’ve ever seen from any other brand.  The best way I can describe them is a cream to powder formula with a slightly ‘bouncy’ texture, quite similar to the Maybelline Bouncy Blushes.

I will say if you don’t like glitter, these eyeshadows probably aren’t for you.  Although they don’t look super glittery in pan, once on the lid they can look really glittery.

The lip products are all perfection (I expected nothing less from Colourpop), this was my first gloss I’d tried from the brand and I’m slightly in love, I think it’s so gorgeous and kinda reminds of unicorn tears.

This was also my first highlight from Colourpop and like I said, the texture is very similar to the eyeshadows so I tend to class this as one of my cream highlights.  It does give a gorgeous glow to the skin and when it catches the light, oooh damn.

Have you tried the Hello Kitty x Colourpop Collab? What did you think?
