If you caught my non-beauty favourites for August you’ll have seen that I promised a beauty favourites post so here I am! I’m going to split my favourites up into lifestyle and beauty from now on so you don’t have to read my ‘life’ ramblings if you’ve got better things to do (which we all have tbf).
Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks
My lovely boyfriend ordered me some new Colour Pop liquid lipsticks and I’m totally in love! I got one from Ebay a while ago, before they started shipping to the UK, and I knew it was essential I picked up some more when they started shipping over to us. I will be doing a haul soon so will go through all the shades I got in that post, just be warned- shipping costs half a leg!
Kiko Eyes 200 Brush
I picked this up on a recent trip to the Bristol store, this was the first brush I’d tried from Kiko but I had high expectations after trying some of their makeup, luckily this didn’t disappoint. The shape of this brush just makes it so easy to blend colours into the crease without any harsh lines and it picks up product really well.
NYX Sculpt and Highlight Face Duo
I may have actually already included this in a favourites post but I’ve been using this constantly this month so I had to include it. The ‘contour’ shade is a cool-toned, taupe colour that makes sculpting out your cheekbones so easy. I don’t use the highlight shade a lot but it is usable, even on paler skin, but I just tend to always reach for my Naked Skin Concealer from Urban Decay.
Freedom Brow Pomade
This is another thing that I’ve been using everyday in July, the Freedom Brow Pomade in Caramel Brown. I’ve never tried the Anastasia version so can’t compare the two but I love this to do my brows with. It shapes them exactly how I want and stays in place all day. Perfection in a pot.
Freedom Highlight Palette
Another Freedom product while I’m at it, this is their highlighting palette with 6 cream highlights and 2 powders. I don’t really understand why noone is talking about this one, it’s very similar to the Sleek palette that everyone has gone mad for, just with a smaller price tag! Definetly worth picking up if you’re always on the look out for a new highlighter.
I Heart Makeup ‘Blushing Hearts’ Blush in Peachy Keen
Obviously this blush is a dupe of the Two Faced blushes, again a product I’m yet to try so I can’t compare the two but I’ve been loving how this blush looks on the skin. It gives a really beautiful glow when all the shades are mixed together. It’s not the most pigmented of blushes but this makes no difference when it’s on your cheeks.
Makeup Revolution Blush Palette in Golden Sugar
I don’t think much words are needed here. Like they say, a picture speaks a thousand words and in this case it’s true. You just have to go in store to swatch these gorgeous blushes. Just wow.
Those are my beauty favourites for July, what have you been loving this month?
